100 years ago today. January 21st 1914.

The card was written to Mrs H.J Norris, The Smithy, Holton, Wincanton, Bath on January 20th, and posted at 9.30 pm on January 21st 1914. Halfpenny stamp. Today 100 years ago, on the day.

And it reads as follows:

Am sending parcel with this post. I shall be glad if you will kindly send on handkerchiefs at once, as they are badly needed. Still cold here & dull. We are still busy. I am alright & hope you sell the rest.
